Her study is Effectiveness of technology for screening children (3-8 years) in resource limited settings: a descriptive study. In this prospective, population-based study, we screened 82.8% (1731 out of 2091) of eligible children aged 3-8 years living in 3 geographic wards in peri-urban Nepal using a spot vision screener. It reflects the effectiveness of the community-based screening approach. 21.72% of screened children were referred for further evaluation, which corresponds to a substantial proportion of children identified as having potential vision problems.
